Competing band details:

• 5 bands per heat
• 3 heats (15 finalists total)
• 20 min set each

QUALIFYING & FAN VOTING:

• Bands will submit themselves into the running.
• Fan voting will be available via the Good Things website
• Each fan who signs up is able to vote for up to 3 bands.  
• Fan voting will be open from 12pm October 15th until 5pm October 26th
• The 15 bands with the most votes per state will be selected to compete in 1 of 3 of the heats.

Judges:

• Each heat will have 3 Guest Judges.

Event Scoring / Voting

• Judges will score based on 5 categories, marking a score 1-5 in each for a total possible score of 25.
  
  • Crowd Pull
  • Crowd Engagement
  • Singing/songwriting skill
  • Instrumental skill
  • Overall performance
• Crowd votes will be in the form of tokens, each attendee will receive 1x token on entry
• Tokens will also be granted for every $5 spent at the venue.
  
  • Including; Alcoholic beverages, non alcoholic beverages, food.
• Final scores for each band will be based on both the judges score and crowd tokens.
• Maximum score from judges of 75 (3 judges, 25 points per judge) + crowd tokens.

Judge 1 - 19
‍Judge 2 - 21
Judge 3 - 16
= 56
‍Tokens - 33

‍Total Score - 89 (56 + 33)
