Voice of Baceprot (VOB) is a critically acclaimed, award winning, trailblazing all-female heavy metal Band from Garut, West Java, Indonesia.Formed by three teenage students ~ Marsya (Vocals & Guitar), Widi (Bass), Siti (Drums), their style of music has been described as “Hip Metal Funky”, which is a mix of metal riffs, hip-hop rhythms and melodic vocals.The name “Baceprot” is from the Sundanese word for “noisy”, which perfectly aligns with their impassioned, electrifying sound and bold messaging.Their breakout moment came in 2017 when a live video of their original Song “The Enemy of the Earth is You” went viral, propelling them into the International spotlight and making global headlines for shattering stereotypes by playing aggressive rock music.VOB’s high-energy defiant style combined with the perfection of their musical artistry has been praised by iconic rock musicians, including Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine) Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers & Slash (Guns N’Roses).Their achievements are many and well documented, with the iconic Glastonbury Festival in 2024 at the top of the list.
