Over 18 days (plus a bonus round for good measure), we tested Good Things fans with trivia spanning our full history — from our very first year in 2018 through to what's coming this December. The response was incredible, and it's clear our community knows this festival inside and out.

THE ANSWERS

For everyone who wants to check their scorecard (or just loves a deep dive into Good Things history), here's the full set of trivia answers from across the competition:

1. Good Things Festival began in 2018 and has taken place over Six Editions
2. Destroy All Lines is the independent, Australian-owned concert and festival promoter that created and operates Good Things Festival
3. Babymetal are the Japanese kawaii-metal band that made their long-awaited debut Australian tour appearances at the inaugural event
4. Australian pop duo The Veronicas inspired national media coverage in 2019 when fans initiated massive mosh pit "walls of death"
5. Good Things took a COVID-enforced break for 2020/21 and returned in June 2022.
6. The reunion of, and first shows in 19 years for TISM was a highlight of Good Things 2022

11. Alex Gaskarth holds the record for individual appearances at Good Things with 3 (2 with All Time Low and 1 with Simple Creatures)
12. Corey Taylor (of Slipknot fame) has played as part of a band (Stone Sour) and under his own name as a solo artist
13. A total of FIVE venues in total have been used across our 18 festivals to date (Flemington Racecourse, Parramatta Park, Centennial Park, Sydney Showground, Brisbane Showgrounds)
14. The most represented country on the Good Things 2026 line is the USA (51.6%)
15. 24 artists on the 2026 lineup have never played the Festival before. (25 if you consider Headwreck has only played Brisbane)
16. 15 artists on the 2026 lineup are playing on an AUS festival stage for the first time.
17. Good Things Festival is known as THE ONLY Alternative
18. Make the Suffer currently hold the record for appearances at Good Things (3). Slowly Slowly will equal them in December
